Statement of Purpose (SOP) Submission – Lilac Education

At Lilac Education, admission to structured academic programs is governed by a Statement of Purpose (SOP) submitted to the Exam Control Board (ECB). The SOP reflects your academic intent, background, and motivation for joining a specific Course-Based or Research-Based program. It is a mandatory requirement for entering selective programs across Lilac Education’s 28 specialized schools. SOPs are reviewed monthly under a fixed timeline, ensuring academic fairness and integrity. Before submission, students are encouraged to review our Grading Policy, Research Level, and Book-Level criteria for further clarity on academic expectations.

📬 How to Submit Your SOP

All SOP submissions must be made through the official Lilac Education SOP Form. We do not accept SOPs via email or other platforms.

🕓 Submission Window:

  • SOPs must be submitted between the 1st and 5th of each month to be considered for current-cycle admission.

  • SOPs submitted after the 5th will be reviewed in the next month.

Your Statement of Purpose (SOP) is the foundation of your academic entry into Lilac Education. It reflects your clarity, commitment, and connection with the program you’re applying for.

Please follow these essential guidelines:

Each SOP must include the following 7 parts (word limits are strict):

  1. Why did you choose this course? (100–200 words)

  2. How does your educational background align with this program? (100–200 words)

  3. What is your research background or future research goal? (100–250 words)

  4. How does your job/experience relate to this program? (50–150 words)

  5. Why Lilac Education? Are you aware of the course fees and policies? (50–150 words)

  6. What is your future goal or expected outcome from this program? (100–150 words)

  7. Additional thoughts or final statement (2–100 words)

  • 🔒 All responses must be written in your own words

  • ❌ AI-generated, copied, or misleading SOPs will be rejected

  • ✅ Use the Google Form only. Email submissions are not accepted

  • 📆 Submit before 5th of each month

  • The SOP is required only once for each program admission

  • Submitting multiple SOPs for the same course may result in disqualification

  • Late SOPs (after the 5th of any month) will automatically be carried to the next month’s review cycle

  • The Exam Control Board (ECB) holds full authority over SOP evaluation and admission decisions

  • You are responsible for reading all academic rules, fee policies, and course requirements in advance

🔹 Who Must Submit SOP?

All students applying to Lilac Education’s academic programs must submit a Statement of Purpose (SOP). Whether joining a Course-Based or Research-Based program, the SOP is compulsory for admission under any of the 28 specialized schools of Lilac Education.

Before writing and submitting the SOP, each applicant must:

  1. ✅ Decide the school/institute they are applying to (from Lilac’s 28 schools)

  2. ✅ Identify the department name within that school

  3. ✅ Choose between a course-based or research-based admission track

  4. ✅ Clearly specify the course/program name

  5. ✅ Express a clear personal intention and academic goal

📌 SOP is the first step to accessing Lilac’s globally structured academic journey. Without a submitted and approved SOP, no admission will be granted.

🔹 SOP Submission Timeline

The SOP process follows a fixed monthly academic schedule under the supervision of the Exam Control Board (ECB). Students must strictly follow the submission window to be considered for admission in the current cycle.

2️⃣8th of the Same MonthAdmission Result is published by the Exam Control Board (ECB).
3️⃣9th–15thStudents must complete the 1st installment or full payment to confirm their seat.
4️⃣16th–20thAcademic preparation days – material distribution, onboarding, and orientation activities.
5️⃣21st of the Same MonthClasses officially begin. However, course duration will be counted from the 1st day of the next month.

📝 Note: SOPs submitted after the 5th are queued for review in the next cycle (1st–5th of the following month). Students must submit on time to begin class in the current month.
