LIC Supports Both School Education and Foundational Bridging

Lilac International College provides foundation-first education from elementary through higher secondary levels through its academic and country-specific schooling systems.

LIC may also support learners registered with other Lilac Education schools. A learner can remain enrolled in an advanced or specialized school while studying selected foundational or bridging subjects through LIC.

This arrangement helps students strengthen the basic knowledge needed to understand their primary subject more deeply and progress more confidently toward advanced study, case analysis, research and implementation.

LIC does not replace the learner’s primary advanced school. It provides supplementary foundational or bridging education when deeper preparation is required.

Advanced Academic Schools

The Other 27 Schools Focus Primarily on Advanced Education

Except for Lilac International College, the associate schools of Lilac Education primarily focus on advanced, university-oriented, professional and specialized learning.

Students are expected to connect their selected subject with a defined purpose. Studying a subject should lead toward deeper understanding, academic development, research, professional ability or practical implementation.

A learner may begin with a fundamental course when necessary, but the wider academic objective remains advanced development and meaningful impact.

Example: Studying Law with an Expected Outcome

A learner studying taxation law should not stop after memorizing legal provisions. The learner should be able to analyze tax cases, understand compliance responsibilities, investigate legal problems and connect tax knowledge with real business, institutional or professional decisions.

Lilac Education does not restrict learners to isolated academic units. When knowledge from another school is necessary, students may study supplementary subjects while remaining registered with their primary school.

Approximately 70% of Lilac Education programs follow a formal research-based model. Across advanced academic pathways, however, teaching and learning remain research-informed, case-connected and impact-oriented.

This means that even when a program follows a course-based structure, its academic content should be developed through relevant research, updated knowledge, credible sources and practical understanding.

Students should also connect their study with cases, assignments, projects, analysis or implementation rather than depending only on passive lesson completion.

Not every academic course is formally classified as research-based. However, advanced courses should remain connected with research, evidence, cases and meaningful application.

A Statement of Purpose helps the responsible school understand the learner’s preparation, intended subject, academic motivation and expected outcome.

A full SOP is required for formal research-based programs and may also be required for advanced academic courses. Other pathways may use a shorter learning-purpose statement or relevant admission information.

The purpose is not to create an unnecessary admission barrier. It helps ensure that the learner, course and intended outcome are appropriately connected.
